Cookie policy

Cookies and browser storage

This policy explains the small amount of browser storage used to keep the site secure, remember requested features, and—only with your permission—measure use of the public site.

Last updated: 19 July 2026

Essential cookies are used to keep the site secure and provide features you request. Analytics stays off and Google is not contacted unless you choose “Allow analytics”.

You can close the prompt or open this policy without choosing. No choice is stored in that case and the prompt may appear again. A saved analytics choice is kept for up to 180 days with the policy version.

The site uses the following categories of storage:

  • XSRF-TOKEN and ibrahim-hasan-session: essential protection and session state, normally for up to 120 minutes of inactivity.
  • remember_web_*: keeps a reader signed in only when they request it, for up to 30 days.
  • ibrahimhasan_analytics_consent: remembers your analytics choice for up to 180 days.
  • _ga and _ga_<stream-id>: optional Google Analytics cookies, created only after permission and kept for up to 180 days.
  • Reader and audio preferences remain in browser storage until site data is cleared; the hero-video view state lasts only for the browser-tab session.
  • Cloudflare may set an essential security cookie when a security check or challenge is triggered.

If you allow analytics, the site measures public-page visits without URL query strings. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals remain disabled.

Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer or on this page to allow analytics or use essential cookies only. Choosing essential cookies only stops later analytics collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. You can also clear site data in your browser.
