What we collect and why
We collect only the data needed for the feature you choose to use. Information is provided directly through forms, accounts, comments, and browser use of the site.
- Consultation requests: name, email, company, selected service, and the details you send, so we can respond to the request.
- Reader accounts: name, email, encrypted password credentials, and account activity, so the account and its saved features work.
- Comments and reports: the content you submit and the account connected to it, so the community can be moderated.
- Technical and security data: limited data needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the site.
How data is used, shared, and kept
We use data to provide requested features, answer inquiries, moderate the community, protect the site, and meet legal obligations. Optional analytics is used only after your permission.
Data is shared only with providers needed to run the site, such as hosting, email, and security providers. Google receives analytics data only if you allow analytics. Providers may process data in other countries. We do not sell personal data.
We keep data only for as long as needed for these purposes, security, follow-up, disputes, or legal obligations. Deleting a reader account removes private account data and non-public contributions; an approved public comment may remain in its discussion with the author shown as “Former reader”.
Your choices and requests
You can update your reader account, delete it from account settings, and control analytics in Cookie preferences. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your data.
